To accommodate the iconic structure, a total of over 40,000 cubic yards of ready-mix concrete were transported. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel has more than 60,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space that it plans to add to its billion-dollar expansion. The company has an extensive network and presence in Florida that is critical to its success in meeting the specifications. The Hard Rock East Tower was a complex and demanding project, in part because it was designed to be unique in shape and on time. The entire expansion at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel will have to be completed by the Super Bowl in 2020.
Baker’s iPad technology, which resulted in two embeds needing to be re-revisited, accounted for the vast majority of the 7,000 embeds placed throughout the project.
